The Truth is Told

Growing up in a Democrat area, I, similar to Kevin, saw the disparity of what was professed by the Democrat party and reality. The only difference was I saw it from a white point of view. Publicly, I saw them speaking of protecting the disenfranchised, but I saw vastly different undertones and innuendo being revealed privately. I also learned that a hand out was not the same as a hand up, but felt helpless to do anything about it. That is why Kevin's book "The Big Black Lie" is so refreshing. Here is a man that is so honest and so bold in letting us into his private world. It is like sitting on the front porch with a family member who is reminding us all of just where we came from, how we got here, and how others are struggling to catch up for all the wrong reasons. I applaud his efforts to get the word out about the subtle, yet "hard-working," and ultimately oppressive racism of in The BIG Black Lie: How I Learned The Truth About The Democrat Party

Congratulations on a best seller imo!!!

I found Kevin's blog one day while lurking. Today's politics and the selfishness can get you down. I don't read many blogs as after a while they actually are all the same but for some reason Kevin is my morning paper to go with my coffee. He knows how to put the right words with eloquence, articulation and great humor. He has kept me going in these trying times of poor government ruling. His book well you cannot put it down once you start reading. He goes into his life as the title suggests and how the Democrats know the right words to get the votes but do not come through in the long run and their selfishness. It is one of the best books I personally have read. I have learned so much from this read that I had highlight a few areas and will read again as it is easy and interesting read. Thank you for your writing Kevin. Your wisdom in this book is so appreciated. A worthy enjoyable easy read!!!!
