Good start, poor ending

The book started off well as a down to earth self-published account of someone trying to make a living at being a model even though she is shorter than what many would think that job requires. Nonetheless, eventually her judgment seemed rather reckless and immature without enough introspection to really take her seriously. It got to be by the last third rather hard to read and she came off, simply put, something of a brat. This is unfortunate given the early parts of the book was pretty promising.
I would give this star 2.5 if possible, but I'll round up.

As I was reading the book, I was going through some issues in my life, and reading Almost 5'4'' made me realize how strong and dedicated Isobella Jade was,
She amazed me with her resistance to negativity and perseverance to get herself to the top.
