Great, excellent, wonderful book!
PRO: irreplaceable for long-range shooters
- It covers introductory external ballistics.
- It is the only source of the accurate experimental data (including G7 Ballistic Coefficients) for many popular bullets in many (most?) popular calibers (alas, manufacturers' data which you'd expect to be the final authority is G1 BC - and not useful for long-range shooters).
CONS: you can't write your own ballistic computer based solely on this book
- does not include complete formulas to compute projectile's flight through the air (have to resort to Robert McCoy).

A classic

This book is destined to become a classic in the field. Written by an aeronautical engineer, it is fairly easy to understand for most shooters but provides an indepth analysis for those with a technical background. Anyone that shoots at long range knows some of this information from experience but this book amplifies and reinforces the necessary principles.
