This is another terrific cookbook from Mr. Food!,

I like the Mr. Food cookbooks. He does everyday cooking really well, although there are a few recipes in here that qualify for company. This book uses some prepared foods, but not too many primarily pancake & biscuit mixes and such things as frozen pizza dough & canned biscuits. Many beautiful photos

Quick and easy recipes

Mr. Food aka Art Ginsburg is known for creating quick, easy recipes that make the task of getting a meal on the table much easier. His newest cookbook Mr. Food TV Favorites contain more than 150 of his popular TV recipes. The recipes range from savory to sweet and all look easy to prepare. You will find numerous color images depicting the recipes and an interactive table of contents making navigation easy.
Here's a sample recipe from his cookbook:
Our Own Donuts
Makes 10 donuts
Vegetable oil
1 (7.5-ounce) package refrigerated country-style biscuits (10 biscuits)
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1 In a soup pot, heat 1 inch of oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
2 Separate biscuits and lay flat on a cutting board. Using an apple corer or plastic soda bottle cap, cut out a small circle in the centr of each biscuit, forming rings.
3 Place rings and "holes" in the hot oil a few at a time and cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until golden, turning halfway through cooking.
4 Drain donuts on a paper towel-lined platter. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve immediately.
SERVING TIP: Enjoy these as is, or sprinkled with cinnamon, drizzled with melted chocolate or a sugar glaze, or coated with frosting and some rainbow sprinkles.

Mr. Food TV Favorites

I had looked for this cookbook all over, because I enjoy his little tv segments. I finally decided to check out Amazon.com. I don't know why I didn't check them out first. They always come through.
The cookbook is a very nice put together book. I haven't fixed anything out of it yet, but I have several items tagged to prepare. I am very excited about this book. The price was great, too.
